Over my head
I’m reading a book about the paris commune of 1871. I love history and especially the French political history. The Paris Communes are even more interesting to me. There’s just one problem… I CANNOT UNDERSTAND ! And it’s tranlated into english. The vocabulary is not difficult to understand. The book contains a lot of political and power theory and analysis. I feel very ignorant and it shows the work I stil need to put in. It reminds me of the famous saying that the more you learn the more there is to know. What “I need to know” is all of French History. Alright…guess I have a little reading to do….
